Position: ESL Teachers - International School Section (ISS) February start, 1 Position

The ISS teaches English, as well IELTS, TOEFL and literature to Grades 1‚Ä ì12 students. The students in this section are from all over Asia, and the world. The program uses an IB curriculum. Work Hours: 20 teaching hours (maximum) per week, excluding lesson preparation Salary: 7000+ RMB per month, after probation period. 400 RMB monthly food stipend.

ISS Qualifications
- Minimum 1 (one) year ESL teaching experience.

Position: ESL Teachers - Language Center
February start, 2 Positions

The Language Center teaches English to primary school students (Grades 1-6). Teachers instruct four to five classes per day (40 minutes each) as
well as other activities within the school.

Work Hours: 20 teaching hours (maximum) per week, excluding lesson preparation
Salary: 6000+ RMB per month, after probation period. 400 RMB monthly food stipend.

Qualifications - All positions
- Native speaker of the English language, from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, or Ireland.
- a Bachelor's Degree, any discipline.
- two years work experience
- Clean criminal record background check.
- teaching degree and/or ESL certificate an advantage
- a passion for teaching children a must

Due to government regulations, citizens of non-English speaking countries cannot be certified as foreign experts and applications from such will not be considered.

Need well-educated native English speaking teacher from North America (Canada/USA) preferably with TEFL and/or BA in education/liberal arts to teach a very special English academic program. Western-owned, American curriculum based on the standards of the State of California Board of Education. California-themed "Education in English" preparatory program for students with hopes of entering and succeeding in North American high schools and universities. Contract from August 23rd 2008 through June 30th, 2009 with 90 day probation. 9,000 RMB per month after probation. Visa support.

Candidate will teach EFL English as well as a few academic courses such as Social Studies. Curriculum imported with official State of California adopted textbooks and resources. We provide all course outlines and all resources including student book, teacher book, audio CDs, PowerPoint files, etc. 18 to 20 forty-five minute lessons per week.

Must have strong liberal arts background and hopefully have studied a second Western language (French, Spanish, Latin, etc.), at least on a basic level. Computer skills including PowerPoint required. Recognized TEFL certificate and BA in a liberal arts field strongly preferred. Strong skills in critical thinking and methodical lesson planning.
