Exceptional opportunity – Director of Studies Positions in China!

Our partners in China are looking for talented individuals for Director of Studies (DoS) positions in the major cities of Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Shenzhen. You will be responsible for teacher development and management in their state-of-the-art language schools and teach a range of students a variety of courses.

Opportunities exist, starting immediately and throughout the year.

Main Responsibilities
-Teacher training and development.
-Teacher management
-Teaching high quality lessons
-Scheduling and timetabling
-Administrative reports
-School development and operation
-Attending Professional development seminars and DoS training sessions.
Benefits:
-Competitive salary (starting at around 17,000RMB/mth)
-Visa and work permit
-Paid vacation in addition to public holidays
-Reimbursement of airfare throughout contract (12,000 RMB gross as a flight allowance, paid in monthly installments of 1,000RMB)
-Comprehensive health insurance
-Arrival assistance and ongoing support (airport pick up, Initial hotel stay: housing assistance, 10,000RMB loan on arrival).
-Mandarin lessons
-Professional development and support
Do you have what it takes?
Essential
• College/University graduate
• A recognized TEFL qualification
• A minimum of 2 years EFL teaching experience
• Computer literate
Preferable
• Diploma level EFL teaching qualification and/or Masters in TEFL or related subject
• Previous supervisory experience, preferably in an educational environment
Personal Profile
• Able to show initiative, share ideas and best practice
• Possesses strong inter-personal skills
• Friendly, approachable, supportive and fair
• Committed to continuing professional development
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to change
• Professional and of smart appearance
